Introducing The Crew!
“The future of the church is already here—in the children and young people growing up in our midst.”
We are called to serve what is in front of us—and what we see is a budding youth group full of energy, friendship, and possibility.
We are excited to introduce The Crew, SPC’s new 5th Grade Youth Group!
These kids come from different schools and different communities, but at SPC, our hope is that they will find a place where they can simply be themselves—a safe place to belong, build friendships, grow in faith, serve others, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.
The Crew is about more than just 5th grade. We hope this year begins to lay the foundation for a strong middle and high school youth program in the years ahead. There are so many possibilities—service opportunities, mission trips, Montreat, ASP, retreats, fellowship, and plenty of memories we haven’t even dreamed up yet.
We are excited about this new chapter in SPC’s journey and about paving the way for the next group of children coming behind them.
A special thank you to the parents who have already stepped up to plan, organize, build excitement, and invest in this group. They are also hard at work cleaning, updating, and furnishing a brand-new youth room for The Crew to call their own—coming soon!
This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where The Crew goes from here.
